Catégories : FÉDÉRALISME ; INTERNATIONALES:Deuxième Internationale ; NATIONALISME ; RUSSIE:Histoire ; URSS:Histoire:1922-1989 Résumé : "Socialist theory and pracice, in nineteenth-century Europe, were both developed in that age of growing national rivalry which was to culminate in the conflagration of 1914-1918. How far did the leading exponents of socialist and anarchist theory come to terms with the national phenomenon? What effects did it have on their outlook? And what were the reactions of socialist and anarchist movements of Europe to the challenge of nationalism and nation-state loyalties, in the years before 1914, and after it? These volumes feature a number of scholarly papers which attempt to assess these problems from a non-dogmatic viewpoint in order to cover what is, for the majority of British socialists, completely new ground."
