En paralelo, habiendo cambiado el mundo profundamente ¿en qué sería susceptible de ayudarnos un tratado centenario? Y finalmente, ¿el anarquismo no sería socialmente muy débil para influir sobre el desarrollo del mundo? ¿Y esta debilidad no tendrá por causa, por lo menos en parte, una deficiencia teórica, cuando además esta estaría encarnada por las ideas de un Kropotkin considerado por algunos como un cientifista y un utópico superado? Dicho de otro modo, podemos preguntamos si el pensamiento de Piotr Kropotkin —y en particular en relación a la ciencia— no sería incapaz de darnos pistas para poder reflexionar y actuar en nuestra época.
